This is my tiny 1.6". It is very similar to the one you can buy prebuilt, difference is this is running iFlight XING-E 1103 10000KV motors and different props.

I still don't get why Diatone chose a 20x20 format for this tiny frame... If they made it compatible with 16x16, I would have buy it :-(
Yeah, its really oversized for the frame. I have another one of these and was looking at using a 20x20 to 16x16 adaptor, but the height of the frame doesnt allow it. Still playing with it to see if it can be done.
You could still drill some holes in the carbon plate, or maybe there is no material there ?
Possibly, 16x16 will put you pretty close to the edge of the internal cutouts on the bottom plate.
