After finishing my 3.5" build, I also wanted a 4" build with pancake motors simply to see the difference and have another smaller quad in my collection.
I wasn't really a fan of the Apex frames due to their high price. The Micro 4" was somewhere inbetween my "okayish" price-range so I gave it a shot. I must say: it's awesome. The amount of screws and extra parts you get is super nice. One big downside: finding a proper guide on how to put it together wasn't really easy to find. It worked out eventually.
Beside the antenna placement for the vista, everything worked out just fine. I may turn the Vista upside down to release some tension on the UFL connector.
The stack was also turned by 180° to have enough space for the cap on the ESC pads and the antenna's tube has been shortened as well to add a little more slack to the antenna cable for less tension.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

What batteries do you like most on it, and what flight-time do you get?
I found it really tough to get a good ratio of time/power on 4" quads, especially heavier ones like the apex 4" or gecko 4".
Tbh, I haven't flown it yet. Weather's been quite bad in the past weeks. I'll be happy if it carries 4S 850mAh well, since I am using them on another 3" quad as well.
