i hit the gps rescue switch to close and i just fell out of the sky. This is the second time I crashed and the gps took the damage. First time broke the gps pins, second time broke the gps battery and antenna/gps holder. I was getting some interferance, so I moved the capacitor to the battery plug, the leds to the front under the beeper, and the power cable off to the side away from the camera and cam wires. I lost a gram.
I couldnt find any oem in stock so I bought a printed antenna / gps holder. It's meant for thicker standoffs, so I had to heat shrink a few layers around mine to get a snug fit. It really doesn't fit the frame great but it should do as long as i dont crash :)
I am very tempted to add another row of leds to the back end... we will see how long I can resist..

With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
