Hello, here is a 3d printed vertical frame designed by SMK-Berlin/Köpenick. We have done several test flights, and constantly adjusted the design. Currently I am flying with a PLA frame, Petg is in work.

Who wants can download the frame! It is available in two versions 12x12mm motor and 16x16mm motor.

! xing 2203,5 has a screw spacing of 6mm, the propellers have 5mm and they need to be adjusted ! Or alternatively the iFlight Nazgul 5030

Gruß Max aus Deutschland

I like to fly it very much. Because he is also much lighter than my 6s Racer, a nice agile flying

Nice looking bird!! - how does it fly? I printed a quad a few months back and where ever I go its the conversation starter. Thanks for sharing

Thanks for the feedback, tpu on the motors we do not have. Protection of the arms is actually done so that the carbon fiber is not destroyed. With a printed frame simply reprint.

This looks SO well thought out!!!
I think the crash photo for analysis is an especially nice touch, and your photography is great!!!!
Have you considered radiusing the junction between the arms and the motor mounts? I assume you have, and you decided against it because it would block thrust (and unevenly to boot). I was looking at it, and I would like to see some tpu boots for the motor mounts. Some flexible fingers, or nearly any design that extends past the motors, to provide some energy absorption during impacts.

That's cool, thanks for the build, there are two types of frames and so many canopies on this site, which one did you take?

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
