This build is a continuation from a previous build. The frame is a Pyrodrone version of the TBS Source One V3.

Using 6s LiPos with Hyperlite 2207.5 1922 Kv Team Addition motors, I set the pwm frequency to 48, Desync to the Blheli 32 default, and Thrust Linear to 25 in Betaflight. I like the smoothness of the motors set at a pwm frequency of 48. My Throttle has been Clipped to 93% in Betaflight.

The GoPro Hero 8, antenna mounts, and front bumper are from Brain3D. The GoPro Mount is set at 20 deg. Brain3D printed the motor guards from the STL file I sent them. Below is the link to the Skids from Thingiverse:

Thank you ShaunyShaun for the design.

A family member printed the GPS mount and battery cable holder for me. Below are the links to the STL files from Thingiverse:

Thank you Sotex FPV for the design.

For extra strength to mount the FC and ESC, I used M3 34mm Buttonhead screws. I was able to find these screws from Hobby King.

Performance:
6s 1400 mAh Lipos-average 5 min 28 sec.
6s 1300 mAh LiPos-average 5.0 min 06 sec.

With my current VTX and Video Receiver set-up and the Micro TBS Crossfire unit transmitting 250mw , I have been able to fly out to approxiately 500m without issues.

Total Flight Weight: 872g.
Dry Weight: 510g.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
