This was my first build ever and I have had no previous experiences with drones, so please comment what you think of it :)
I will add the weight soon btw. I used 4600 kv 1404 motors with f4 FC and 30A esc (way overkill) w/ caddx ant and rush tiny tank vtx. Its running of 700mAh 4s 75c batteries.

I'm thinking of getting a different frame for it because the canopy cracked within the first like, 5 batteries, probably equivalent to about 6 or 7 crashes lmao! and I had to use a zip tie to keep it together. Otherwise this thing is a beast, It takes sooooo much abuse (apart for the canopy getting cracked) and on top of that, its really fast for how small it is.

I soldered the camera to the vtx, which proved to be a problem because the video was black so I rewired the camera to the FC and that seemed to fix the problem. I also found out that the the 20x20 esc/fc stack that I bought didnt accually fit the 20x20 mounting on the frame because the screw holes on the frame are to big. My solution for this was to just use a rubber band as shown in the last pic.

Thanks for reading this, please comment what you think of it or what replacement frame I should get for it!

Nice build. I'm thinking of building one myself with some 1404 motors in 4s how is the fight? characteristic.

Looks great! You could always just replace the canopy with a TPU canopy and you'll never break it again.

I definitely could do that but I'm leaning towards just getting a new frame so I can properly mount the fc/esc stack and antennas. Thanks for the feedback!

What are the mounting holes on the frame

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
