This is my 7 inch, Long Range focused build.
The frame is designed by me, with arms inspired by the AOS 7 but with a different overall package, with the goal of easily carrying 8000 and 10000 mAh 6s2p Li-Ions, and 3000 to 4000 mAh Li-Pos.
The carbon was cut by the guys over at https://www.farinsframes.com/ in Italy.
Weight is 662g with everything except the GoPro and the battery, while all-up weight is 1630g, with a 8000mAh Li-Ion which weighs 880g by itself.
The motors are a bit undersized but that's what I had. They are the first thing I would like to upgrade.
With this setup I have reached the hard wired limit of the DJI Digital Sistem at 13,4km.
Flight time with the massive battery shown is over 45 minutes of cruising.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
