This is my latest 5 inch freestyle/cinematic drone.
My goal wasn't to have the lightest or most agile quad, but rather something robust that could easily carry a full size GoPro.
All-up weight, with a GoPro 6, ND Filter, battery and straps is 716 grams.
I know 4s is being replaced by 6s but I bought these motors and batteries when 4s was still the standard and I'm not ready to throw them away since they still work quite well.
The mark 4 frame is very popular, I find it flies quite well and it's fairly light. My only complaint is that there is not much room due to the arms being above the bottom plate, and no slots for battery straps, so they risk falling out when there is no battery.
Also I initially wanted to run a full size DJI air unit but it's an extremely tight fit, even though this is the version of the frame designed to carry it.
I ended up getting a Caddx Vista unit and it's a lot better in terms of space wirh no noticeable performance drawbacks.

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
