This quad is my pride and joy, it's based on a build I saw on here years ago. It packs some serious punch clocking out at 140 km/h with flight times of 4-5 minutes. It handles more or less like a 5" and is tons of fun to fly.
This little beast has cost me a lot of headaches ever since I started building it two years ago. On the first maiden it blew a cap on the VTX which leaked onto the FC which made it fly into the ground at max throttle while I couldn't disarm as the short fried the RX. This year I finally perfected the build.
After replacing the HGLRC stack with a cheaper MAMBA stack it behaved correctly. But the 3700kv, 4S combo was too strong for the propellers, at mid throttle they would start bending causing oscillations. After trying a bunch of different props and tuning I settled on the original Gemfan 3052 props. On the new stock betaflight it handles like a dream without any bounceback or propwash, the only problem being gentle landings as it bounces around with all that power on such a lightweight. The mini pagoda turns out to work great and is very durable.
Stats:
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
