Since Dave_C published the design, I wanted to build a NanoLongRange - a year later I finally had all the parts together and could start building! I followed the template of Dave_C very closely, only the bottom I have enlarged a little and printed it out of TPU instead of PLA.

The quad was a lot of fun to build and is also a lot of fun to cruise around with. Finally a good use for all my 18650 batteries (but you have to use quality ones like the Sony Murata VTC6)!

Update: Added a bigger antenna for more range and put the LC-filter ahead of the voltage regulator for a cleaner video signal. You can download the antenna mount on thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5216732

Very cool build! I need to get around to printing a bottom in TPU as well. My original has a few cracks in it now.

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
