Which size are the mounting holes of the motors (the distance diagonally of the screws)? I'm planning to buy this frame and I'm making a list of the components, but I'm unsure which motor to buy that fits on this frame. Thanks

Will a 1507 motor with 12x12mm mounting size be compatible with this frame?

Yes

How does it fly? Ive seen 2004 mostly on 5inch drones 😉

It flies really good. Having the motors in 3000kv i think also softens the AMP draw but really has a lot of power. I've only been using 3S HV on this but 4S makes it a beast. :D

I will have to try. Mine are 1800kv, so a bit concerned as I mostly have 4s batteries. Maybe propping up to 6inch would do it 🤔

the led, buzzer and battery connector mount looks good, did you design it yourself?

yeah I know what you mean, those camera cage are real tight at first but they eventually gets better once you disassemble them a few times. I don't have to file them. These carbon fibers file themselves when they touch each other ;)

I have been slow to build this one, just screwing the motors on and noticed that the arms have a little play. It might go away one the stack screws are all in place, or I might have to add some paper shims between the arms. Did you notice looseness in the frame arms?

Not really. Mine was pretty tight.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
