So let me tell you a little story.... This one time, at a rock quarry during early morning golden hour, there was this nice little custom built Crux3. When out of NOWHERE, and i mean NOWHERE, came a large steel arrow sign! the Crux3 frame was no more, but the motors and internals were still usable! I searched and searched for what frame would hit my tastebuds like the crux3, and stumbled upon this little beauty!
The GepRC Phantom 2.5" frame is awesome! Inside i mounted the Mamba F4 AIO toothpick FC, and a Mamba TX/RX combo. I will be swapping to a Crossfire receiver as soon as i acquire one! For now the D16 Mamba will do. Wont be pushing long ranges, but at least i get to send it still!!
I added a 3d printed tail piece with an xt30 holder, rx antenna protection, and vtx antenna mount. Also 3d printed is the skids on the feet of course. I was laughing reading the crux3 part. I have like 8 spare frames of these laying around. but after seeing the phantom frame I immediately knew this is going to be my next hit. Qurious tho as to how far you plan to go with this and the smallish lipos it can carry.
