This is my frist build as I am realitively new to the hobby and in lue of these regulations a laws related to remote Id and FAA filings. So last year I decided build a 5-inch and pratice for the upcoming races this summer.
I am not aware of the exact weight of parts altogether but i would say that it is on the heavier side for this frame. With stock betaflight tuning I think that it handles pretty well and with my very self developed sense of how a quad should fly and feel, I would say that it is pretty darn good.
I really want to learn PID tuning and get into making my quad fly better akin to how I want it to preform once I get better at flying
I've gotten around 2 hours of flight on it before winter hit here when I finshed my quad in early september, I averaged about 4:30 when ripping around back yard on 1300 4s but on a 2200 3s crusing I can get around 6 ish. I don't think the nieghbors like me too much though but if any one is out I normally wont fly.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

Nice. As you improve you can run those motors on 6s limited to 3000kv in betaflight. Ballistic.
