AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

I like what you have done with the frame. It looks like better cam protection, and better mounting options for your antennas.
What's it like, working with the grease? As you handle the quad, or do repairs, does it skooge out and get on your hands? I'm not worried about getting dirty, i'm just curious. I imagine you don't use much of it, and it's a non-issue, but I have never used it. I wonder what it's like for the gyro, the quads we fly are already superb, so it's not really for us. Strange days.
I watched your tree flying vid, you are brave!
it can be messy when applying it. it will of course spread to everything you touch if there's some on your fingers. I just let it be messy until I'm done then clean it off. it will collect dirt and grass will stick to it if excess not cleaned up after applying. I think it's worth it frame makes different (less) sound when dropped on table with/without grease
(yes very little required I've done like 5 quads off smallest bottle I could find and just over half gone)
