Story behind:
Now this one is special! It's inspired by a guy called "EILL", and while he decided to provide some parts for his DP-1x (Dark Phantonm 1x v1/v2), he never published the frame itself, so i wanted to hire a guy from FIVER to recreate the frame - but another guy in our fpv-community forum (YAMIE) recreated this frame for printing on a FDM printer.
The frame:
The printed bottom frame weighs 14.77g, and with a flight controller, motors with propellers and the caddx baby turtle it weighs 72.48g.
I've printed the frame on my slightly modified Creality Ender 3 (no pro, no v2, just basic "3") with PLA+ by sunlu, which is very strong (also have the #NanoLongRange printed in this material, but green). The printing settings are somewhat experimental, i've tried without infill and no support, but gave it 5% of infill. It did well, but i would go with painted supports next time.
There is a simple TPU spacer for the flight controller, and there will be some more TPU parts (canopy top bridge, vtx antenna mount, bottom LiPo mount like the five33 tiny trainer)
Electronics:
The flight controller is an older JHEMCU SH50A, which take 2-3s LiPos and has a BLHeli_s 4in1 ESC (BlueJay Firmware, just because of the music tunes and bidirectional DSHOT). For the Motors, i took the amaxinno 1106 4.300kV from my "noisy cricket" build.
I know that this one will get a Happmodel EP-1 receiver, but not sure about the vtx. The fpv camera will is the caddx ant, because the planned baby turtle whoop version wouldn't fit.
The first hover test with gnb 2s 520 mAh HV was very satisfying, the second hover test with the 3s version was also very nice. It's the most quietest miniKwad I have.
Will test fly in the next days, hope it is not as windy as it is the last days.
Long story short:
New AIO-Board by DarwinFPV replaced the jhemcu sh50a one, some modifications where made to the bottom frame (due to the slightly different position of the USB connector). I also doubled the capacity of the provided capacitor to be more save with spikes and video distortions.
First flight is found here:
Some things during the flights on this day, showed some issues, which I hope to eliminate with emuflight. Be careful with emuflight, because the DarwinFPV board uses the ICM20689 gyro, which is (at the moment) not implemented in the MatekF411 target by emuflight. But luckily, someone managed to get it into the target and provided the hex file. It works, and I like the tune presets (choose the 3"/3s preset).
I've created a insta360 go mount, one for forward facing views and one reverse facing one - last one by accident.
Update:
I've now printed the long awaited original version by EILL and planted everything into this frame. This brain is much robust than yamies version, but it's also heavier. For some reason, I have now slave for the planted whoop version of caddx baby turtle HD camera board. The vtx is now the first gen eachine nano and it's mounted to the top of the canopy. The "action cam mount" is no longer needed, but remains to add the insta360 go (v1) as needed.
I also changed the ExpressLRS EP1 with the EP2 (smd antenna version), so only the vtx antenna is visible.
I will change the pictures soon, this frame still remains active as another version - whoop canopy and 3.5" props...
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

I am simply citing the source for your print...he posted his model for download in two public forums. No permission needed.
