Um What can i say , it floats ,
I built it to chase wind surfers and wave riders surfers and boats,
A drink bottle taped to the quad is probably better ,
But when asking a stranger if i can film her/him on their sail /surf / what ever board the prop guards make them feel safe

I see that eachine wizard x220 bottom plate is enjoying it's new life! What a cool concept man, x8 that floats.
Did you mount the arms to the plywood layer? Or is it bolted to the carbon?
I like that you used the battery straps to bond the layers together, where you placed them, and what they are doing, seem great.
Is the 7" x8 fast? What battery(s) are you using with it?

What a cool vision
Some people strap a bottle to the bottom, but at least yours has a CHANCE of hitting the water upright, and taking back off, I say it's better.
