Thought I'd jazz-up the AOS 5 frame with a couple of coats of purple paint on the arms and the camera protection plate - I think it came out pretty good. Managed to get the T-Motor MCK 2207.5 motors on sale and paired them with the Foxeer Mini (20x20) FC and the Foxeer Reaper Mini 60A (20x20) ESC. The ESC is actually the size of a 'regular' 30x30 ESC it's just that it has 20x20 mounting holes. I also used a FETtec Spike Absorber...mainly because it looks and sounds cool! ;)

I'm running digital with the good old Caddx Vista.

I'm not a skillful enough pilot to appreciate things like the 'improved resonance' that this frame is supposed to provide but I thought it flew really nicely on the few flights I've managed so far (waiting for it to warm up a bit here). I was actually a bit worried that the 2100KV motors on 6S would kill my lipos but I'm getting about the same flight time as I would on the Rcinpower Smoox 2306 1880 KV motors on my daily driver. I do like that the frame allows you to easily run the XT60 lead from the ESC up through the top plate which helps to keep the battery leads out of the way.

The 3D printed parts, the GoPro mount and antenna mount, are from the always awesome Brain3D and I'll forever be in love with the (practically) indestructable RotorVillage lipo straps. Can't wait for nicer weather so I can spectacularly smash this guy into a tree! ;)
