This is the start of a daily driver that I can fly around the house. With little kids next door it has to have prop guards. Experimenting with a 2s caddx build. Bought an Alpha85 frame last year and I never built it for the fear of flying something that tall. Left the lower portion of the frame out over the winter and slowly added parts. Borrowed a carbon piece from a 5 inch quad that makes the front bumper / camera guard. The camera is a nano polar on 3d printed mounts. Bought stand offs and took the bottom plate from a Beta85 frame and cut off 3 of the extends, drilled holes and now it's the top plate to this build. Added silicon grommet for the antenna mount. Used VHB 3m tape to affix a ELRS RX. Eventually I ditched the rubber bands on my quads and 3d print TPU bands to specific sizes to hold batteries in place. Looking forward to first test flight. Hoping for clean video with no capacitor. Starting off with a jhemcu FC but planning on moving to fettec.

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
