I love flying micros, and my basher 3" quad is an ImpulseRC Micro Alien, for which I have a dozen spare arms.
When I switched froma nalog to HDZero, no problemo, the single PCB VTX would fit in place.
Then I witched to DJI... and the Vista definitely doesn't fit. It could, but with an AIO AND naked. I don't want to go naked...
Why wouldn't you buy a Micro Apex then ? Well, first I have those spare arms, then there is the weight...
The OG Micro Alien is a 33g frame, and the Micro Apex is 58g ! that's 25g more of carbon, then you add the difference of weight between an analog VTC and the Vista...

The plan was to keep as much parts as possible so I flipped the central plate (with threaded inserts) to get the stack to the front, some new bottom and top plates.

A friend 3D printed them so I could validate the design with every parts, and then I sent the .dxf to a guy who cut carbon plates.

The result is a sturdy light basher, and weights just 20g more than its Analog equivalent.
Autonomy is nealy the same, and as a bonus props are not in sight anymore !
