Tiny X8

I just wanted to create a very tiny X8.
I think I somewhat achieved that.

still planning and designing a cam holder canopy? thing to fly that thing in FPV.

I had some hurdles to cross with this project.
waiting time bcs Flywoo accidentally sent me only 2 motors instead of the 2x 5 pack I ordered.
weird incompability between their own FC and ESC.
the tiny plug is mechanically compatible, but not electronically, so I had to handsolder both tiny 16x16mm ESC to the FC.

Hello,
i need to build this :)
Can you provide a stl file for the base plate ?
Maybe im going to put a o3 on it
Like a micro Cinelifter :)

Hi.
thanks for appreciating my weird builds :)

that designs is already outdated I did a new one but it's still in "prototype phase"

it already struggles with a naked vista, I doubt it will do well with a O3
with the 0802 motors at least.
I was planning on putting slightly bigger motors on there

I have 0803 motors laying around,if i use a o3 i would decase it.

I was planning on going with RC Inpower 1003 for the extra power.
if I'm satisfied with the new design I'll probably put it on here, files included ;)

nice project. I wanted to do the same and found your project. I already purchased motors. do you think it will have enough power to carry naked vista?

The first thing I want to do is to design a frame to accomodate all components. Who knows maybe it can carry naked gopro!. I am more concerned about mounting the motors. I like your design but I am trying to see if I can mount motors directly under each other. I also looked at buying individual escs to save space for vista but it seems it is gonna be heavy with those wires and escs!

naked GoPro? ouh this gonna be interesting.
what motors you'll be using?

my motor mount design was chosen bcs it's easier to produce and install and its probably lighter than the usual cinelifter style, but you can certainly try.

but I think there is no need for separate ESCs those would be probably way too heavy
I designed a new revision of my X8 frame and it can carry the stack and Vista.
but haven't installed and tested it yet

I got lots of 0802/1900kv motors and have to stick to them.
I wish there was an AIO x8 esc board to make life easier.
I would love to see your new design!

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
