AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

Hi,
Im building a Aos 3.5 V2, how this motors are holding up? I was looking for a 1504, very few choioces, Brotherhobby 1504.5 3.900kv....... Undecided...
They're okay. They run a bit hotter than I would like, but no issues with them so far. Windings look fine too. There's also very few props that fit. Otherwise, they're fine. Durable and responsive. Flies real nice with stock tune and you can remove a lot of the filtering without the motors getting any hotter than they already are.
Do you need to drill the propellers? Or needs an adapter to fit the Fpvcycle motors?
The motors came with adapters for 5mm. Gemfan makes a 3520 with 5mm hub. These are the only props I found that fit.
thanks man, one last question, what pwm are you using?
I'm using 16 - 96 kHz by rpm. BTW, I redid the stack and added some spacers between the ESC and the FC. The motors run cool now and they're a lot smoother in the air. I'm guessing it was just noise that was the issue before.
