inspired by Dax and Nick Burns
The day I saw Nick's video, then watched Dax's build, I then built this that evening with spare parts I had.

42g surprised me. I was expecting more....with still some places I can shave off weight too! (motor plugs, trimming down wires and replacing some metal hardware)

anyone remember that ugly 3d print? I knew it had a purpose.
turns out it worked pretty well with a naked vista...its made for a micro camera though and offers no camera protection.

The HGLRC Aeolus whoop motor looks very well built, lets see how long it lasts. no top c-clip. Also, the 0802 is going to be working really hard, Time will tell how well it works, it's also the reason why this build is pretty light as a 1002 or 1102 will be heavier

nice build! I saw dax and Nick's video. collecting parts I dont have as we speak. how is yours doing? avg flight time on what batt? what would you change if you'd build it again..

thanks man, tbf, everything has been collecting dust the last few months so I haven't been able to fly much. iirc, cruising around with cheap 350mah 2s packs easily gets me to 3 min. It's not a very acrobatic build but for exploring it's perfect.
One thing I learned is not to use nylon bolts for cameras. It's a massive pain to remove when they snap!

I have it too, phases that I don't even look at my quads let alone fly them. work and life just getsin the way. But yes I hate nylon bolts and try to avoid them like the pl..

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
