This build was inspired and ripped off from totofpv: https://rotorbuilds.com/profile/20503 Fractal makes some realy cool frames that you should check out! This post got put on hold due to getting a bum FC and having to sacrifice my 65mm fast back to make this one possible.

This is my attempt at a light weight HD-Zero 75mm. Didnt want the happymodel offering on weight concerns. These new 1002 motors required extra dremeling of the ducts to avoid the prop scaping the bottom. I still need to do final xacto trim. These images rough. May add pad around usb to protect. These are short or shallow motors. On paper they pull 5 amps with these props. So, I went JHEMCU 405 5a FC with build in ELRS as it supports 2s and saved the weight of wires and an RX. The HD Zero system just came. First test. I may need to tweak the front camera and try to remove plastic with dremel to let it fit better. Had to open screw holes on the frame to get mounting accomplished. Used LW glass filed nylon screws. Fearing vibration -> jello on the camera touching ducts. Will report back. Clean build. I loaded UAV Techs experimental 1-2s whoop tune out of betaflight presets and run bluejay at 48k.

Add 7 dolllars to this build for the thicker carbon fiber plate that I went with. Cant link it as its a drop down option on the order page. I didnt want the weight of the XT30 plugs for this build and with a 5 amp load I just put BT2.0 plugs on the batteries to replace the PH2.0. I looked at this for an hour or so and put velcro on the HDZero VTX after inspecting the quality of its build and seeing how well they built the metal plate fasteners. Might add a tpu band in near future. Picturing the metal getting ripped off in a tumble now. The metal is removable but it looks sturdy so I went for it. Got two laps on it tonight before a battery lead came unsoldered on maiden flight. Will try to get better video tomorrow. This thing sounds and feels very fast. Very windy today..
