Little 2inch prop with caddx vista and Nebula pro
Gests like 6 minutes of flight with 3s 850mah, looking for a 3s 500mah or some 4s 450mah for outdoor flying
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

Cool build
I picked up the same frame a little while ago and I'm currently looking at a similar build design to this one (actually got an extra set of those happy model motors you used on the analog version of this build).
I have a question since this will be my first Vista build --> how hot does that air unit get and is it ok to put it above or below the flight controller...or if I'm using a small 20x20 stack should I rather pair it with the ESC?
Thanks, i used it with 1200mw, a beast, not really hot, as an open frame the air does the job, weel, actually dont try to touch it... i used this drone with some 3s batteries even for outdoors, the drone were around 100 gr or more, cant remember, a little heavy for the size, the frame broke in a crash and cant get another in my country, i tried those happymodel motors, because i used the hyperlite in a 3" buid, the happymodel motors are not the best for this one, wobbles a lot, maybe i had to use the 4s batt, but the motor is only 3s, i used those happymodel in a 1.6" geprc p16HD frame, precious with the caddx vista even in outdoors
Cool that helps a lot. I just finished my first setup of this frame. I'm still figuring out some video settings with the air unit, but so far it flies pretty stable, nice thrust... still looking for some different props.
Also if you want another frame...i I could probably send you one, they're pretty affordable
