Just got my hands on DJI's new O3 Air Unit and was excited to build it. But this time I wanted to fit it in a 3" for compactness.
I was imagining high fidelity image quality and good range in a small frame that hopefully could give a decent flight time.
After doing several nights of research as to what frames were available to me, I decided on the Diatone Roma L3. I'm a fan of deadcat layouts so the props are out of view. That and I think aesthetically, they're more pleasing.
The O3 Unit fit almost perfect. I didn't want to overtighten the camera's holding screws so I instead used some 1mm shims outside of the bracket to add pressure and now it's perfect. Overall, the frame worked splendidly with this build and it flies amazing on one of my spare Kakute F7 Mini V2 + Tekko32 ESC Stack. Overall, the build is 150g. AUW weight with a 4S 450Mah (59g) is at 210g. There's room to explore batteries more more flight time. I might try 650-800mah in the future.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
