This build all started with a conversation between my Dad Chuck an i over two fpv cameras. Both Foxeer, T-Rex and Cat3 . A week later he passed away at 72 in his sleep. He was a great man!
Days later the Foxeer T-Rex Mini arrived. An this build would soon be dedicated in his honor.
Recently I've leveled up my lipo game to 6s and needed to build my first legit 6s build. After much research i decided to go with a Chameleon Ti frame. Surprisingly once i decided on this frame a fellow pilot on DroneNation put one up for sale the very next day (ment to be).
i painted the titanium Anodized Red to match the color scheme of red ♥ on Black . Went with red cnhl race wire on the arms an rdq LED strip on the bottom.
this build is nice and clean! So much so that i entered it into a "Pimp your quad" challenge and took second place. First place went to a hexaquad that'd been hydro dipped, truly amazing machine!
To add more bling i went with red counter sunk washers all around. haven't decided if i want to add any 3d prints as of yet like a GoPro mount. front bumper and arm ends is most likely where I'll stop. but as of now im very happy with it. And i know my Father would be proud!
I dub this quad "Chuck".

•Armattan Chameleon Ti 5"
•Foxeer T-Rex Mini
•Mamba Mk4 app w/55a ESC
•Rush Solo vtx
•iflight xing 2207 1850kv pro
•Vas minion pro sma antenna
•csfr nano rx with mini immortal T antenna
• Anodized Red dupi-color spray paint
•cnhl red race wire/ rdq LED strip

so flight time is lacking an think it has to do with choice on props. Ethix S5 props are giving me 3-4 minutes of flight time on fairly aggressive freestyle. which i might try a quad blade prop or something with less of a pitch.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
