I resuscitated some old broken parts, used some parts that have been shelved for a while.
i have bad luck when trying to change antennas on the crossfire rx.. almost always I ripped out the ufl connector. I had a few lying around so i decided to hardwire a diy mini immortal-t I made. Take the floppy wire antenna that comes with the crossfire, cut down to slightly larger length than needed, strip outside wires and cut to exact length. then i just used the bottom of a zip tie for rigitdy, and heat shrunk to hold it all together. For my kind of flying with this quad, im getting excellent results :)

I wanted to build something for the backyard thats relatively quiet and HD, and 2s ...
2 blade is slippery, 3 blade is locked.
2s is mellow , 3s is punchy and responsive.

theortically, since the vtx is powered through an onboard 9v BEC, i should be able to try 4s... motors can definitely handle it, frame i'm not so sure.

this is my new favorite ( on 3s).. light, responsive, and fast. I got over 7m of freestyle this morning on a heavily used 550 3s rline
with floppy props this is downright tiny :P
added a lollipop from a teardown i just did, and replaced the 16 with 18g wire for the pigtail to loose some weight
