This build is very similar to its analog version FPVFLOW TRAILBLAZER, with similar weight and performance.
The main difference consists in the FC / ESC stack to be placed on the rear part of the frame. This is due to the fact that the Caddx Polar KIT comes with a short cable, thus not allowing the Vista kit to be placed on the back. Also, the ESC is flipped and this means a resource remapping on Betaflight or a mixer modification on INAV to work properly.
The H7 FC is plenty powerful as it remains constantly at 1% CPU on the bench... that's crazy...
The main issue with this build is the frame. It has a nice shape but is too prone to oscillations (and then also D-term ones). Recently, a rigidity bar has been put on the market, probably in order to overcome this problem. We have already bought a bunch of them, but we are still waiting for the delivery.
We are using INAV 5.1, which is fine for the purpose of the build. Moreover, BF would be better for filtering, especially for single notch filters that are not available on INAV. With decent tuning, even without rigidity bars, it flies well (if you don't look too much at the logs), handling strong wind gusts without too many oscillations.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

You could just swap the wires of the cable that connects FC and ESC.
