iffy parts build...
All these frame parts were from broken frames.
the front arms are from an armattan tadpole 3" i cut out, the back arms and lower plate are from a HD Phantom, and the top plate is from the baseplate of an analog Phantom. suprisingly its fairly well balanced. Now this frame can support 3" props :D

I had an older fc and as soon as i got everything buttoned up, an esc died. I swapped out the FC with another questionable one I have. I swapped out the motors again or emax 1404 3600kv's
I realized after I was completed one of the emax motors was dead. I decided to replace both front motors with the tmotors so it has 4600kv in front and 3600kv in back. I'm def not getting max power / efficency , but its basically a free build, so I'll suck it up.
I cut out a piece of plastic and scuffed it with sandpaper to get a good diffuse glow. The front landing pads are shorter than the back ones to give it a slammed stance... serves no other purpose.
the antenna exploded on impact from another build, but the guts were fine. I used a couple of layers of heatshrink and it seems to be good to go :)

I think this frame fusion is GREAT!
I love the recess that it creates for your receiver. I honestly think that the Phantom is juuust a little to light. If I could add a little carbon to the thing, I would love to make the front arms thicc AND wide, and everything else (except maybe a front bumper) would stay the same. The only possible downside to what you have here could be from strange resonances, but you gotta roll the dice on any new frame :D
I saw this post come up a few days back, how does she fly??!!

this is one of my favorites to fly now:) small enough to not attract to much attention, but still fast enough to explode if i crash at full throttle. 4s 450s its a rocket with tons of control.
no blackbox so i cant speak to resonance but i have not had a flyaway and very little prop wash on default BF settings

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
