Been tinkering with the new 45mm props. So far this one might be my favorite configuration.
NBD beebrain canopy just barely fits the 45mm props with some trimming. Going to try this setup with the new betafpv canopy as soon as I get another couple caddx ant nano cameras with threaded adjustable mounting.
This kv motor and prop combo feels so sharp.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. How does it compare to a babytooth?
I only have a handful of flights on this build so far. The babytooth still wins for outright power to weight. That ratio not only plays into the ripping, but also flight times. I can get 7-8mins to a battery on the babytooth, but the 45mm builds kind of tap out at 3.5mins. I still have to play around with some 520-500mah batteries on the 45mm toothpick builds. That all said this little build is very responsive and sharp particularly with the triblade props, and is so wonderfully small which makes these little quads great for daily flyers out and about. Its all a balance and for right now Im happy to give up some speed and flight time for sharpness and ease of everyday carry-ability. Just uploaded a comparison image showing size difference between this and the babytooth.
