Botgrinder build, with pretty much all he used at one time in one video before another company sent him more stuff to schill. I'm all for free information, but when it is in the form of a 30 minute commercial you kind of put me off. But...I digress.
Fun-ish build. The Hobbywing stack is nice, but some of the pads are a little small for my eyes - even with my big magnifier. Age.
I'm just starting in this hobby, about 2 months now, but I know I like it, and my bank account can prove it. As soon as I settle on one or two systems I will be setup for the rest of my time on the sticks. But for now, I'm exploring most of what is out there until I find something I can remain with. Suggestions?
Next build is a Mr. Steele Apex (I guess I messed that up? - it is still waiting on ESCs for a KISS build) - but I'm on the fence about the FC/ESC I'll be using, and I'm not sure I want to stick with analog any more as I've been having penetration issues (not that kind).
Still figuring out all the PID settings for me. I've got some decent rates for the lacking PID values I have, but the longer I am in the game the more I will glean.
One issue is HD-Zero. The image is horrible on this beast. Big blocky chunks of video, with less than 200ft distance before the wall of rainbow creeps in. No matter what my settings are. DJI O3 I don't have any issues with, at all, so far. So, as much as I don't like spending the cash on it, I cannot see me using much of anything else as the garbage that is the alternative is just that.
Gemfan 51433 props in purple are what was in the picture, added to the list.

sick build bro, throw an ultra v2 on it 🤘
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

Sick build, been having this on my list of likes. The name is rather curious, but what the hey..cool
I'm also working on my first Demibot right now..been flying Apex bootlegs and breaking legs on Mark5 frames and the likes... figured I'm about ready for something more sturdy
A bit bummed about your HDZero experience, but hey....maybe it's an antenna thing...or a firmware update? I'll try either way, since that DJI latency has been killing me. I really notice the difference and had many close calls and some brutal crashes due to DJI latency. I also noticed that I get better analog coverage (range and penetration..yeah, that kind) at places with higher elevation
I have a question with regards to those nice footsy 3D prints...bear paws as kid called em..lol --> I'm also using 2207 motors (Xing2), but either they're just too chunky, my prints are too tight...my paint is too thick...no idea, but they seem to have a lil rub. Did you trim them, or had any issues at all with the fit? Also asking cause I saw you use em on the PeptoBisBot
