I wanted to build a sub-250g HD quad compatible with my DJI Goggles 2. The 3 inch Armattan Tadpole HD frame with a CADDX Vista system and a Nebula Pro camera met the profile. I went with the Diatone Mamba MK4 F722 mini stack for flight controller and ESC. My motors are Xing2 1404 3800kV.

I wanted a GPS unit, and the new HGLRC mini GPS was small enough for that quad. There was unfortunately no mount available for that GPS with that micro quad, so I designed one and had it 3D printed. The rear end of the quad is very unusual and stylish, so traditional designs for GPS mounts did not work. I adapted my design for that rear end, and it works great. I initially picked a Radiomaster RP2 ELRS receiver with embedded ceramic antenna, but range was not great so I switched to a RP1 receiver with a regular antenna, which I double-taped under the GPS mount.

Total weight is 163g without LiPo, 247g with a Tattu R-line 650mAh LiPo, just 3g shy of 250g. I also use a Tattu R-line 850mAh LiPo for longer flight times, which brings it to over the 250g limit.
