First time meeting up with a fellow pilot he asked if i wanted a quad that took a dive in a puddle. Your damn right i do!
ESC and 3 motors are still working, 4th motor seems a bit iffy but works. Ironically another pilot on DroneNation had hooked it up with a iflight succexx-d fc few months back.
the iflight vtx was toast. so went with the trusted Rush vtx just not the solo in this one.
im a big fan of how sturdy this frame is, arms are pretty thick.
one of the motor wire protector guards looks like it took a prop strike. so instead of taking it off i just wrapped white electrical tape round it( might change it though and just rewrap it different).
Like most of my quads i had to add LED lights. so i added the pink LED rope lights to the back only. these ones are from Flyhighfpv.com and are Bright AF!
to add that final touches used red counter sunk washers on the top and a tiny immortal T tucked behind the fc stack.
took the foxeer T-Rex v3 out of my Armattan Chamaeleon Ti.
the quad didn't come with the 3d printed camera mount parts that go with the side plates for the fpv camera. so i cut up some old shendrone squirt v2 ducts from years ago that come in useful from time to time.
loaded it up with 4.4 bf as well as the 5" 6s supafly presets.
my hopes is that it'll fly almost as well as my tbs source1 v3 build but i doubt it because of the Fpvcycle motors.

Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
