this is my lightest whoop yet. my previous best was 19g and it flew amazing so 2 grams less (10 percent less weight!) should be even bettery eh?
there are a few more things that people do which could be done here but I'm lazy and have fat fingers and bad eyes.
- use a30/bt2 instead of gnb27 (my batts are all gnb27 for now)
- cut grommets in half
- strip off the casing of ground wire
- use bi-blades
- go 0703 motors
- remove camera connector
- change out camera wires to thinner ones
- remove usb port
one pack from maiden session
the immediate feedback I get is that there is so much more throttle resolution. I could see why people go to much higher KV now. Don't think my skill level is quite there yet. Also, these batteries are over a year old and only 260mah but the sag doesn't hit until much later. With my other whoops which are 21g and 24g it's only the first 20-30 seconds where I have enough juice to pull off the IGOW requirements. With some new batteries this will get magical.
