AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

Have you gone on any long distance flights with it? (For me that's anything more than a few blocks, so i'm not asking if you have any impressive distance numbers)
I wonder how far it can go, you have a lot of energy, and very little weight. I have all these questions about: how far can it go? how FAST can it go? How much is it blown around, and is wind an actual "deal breaker" sometimes? How much windspeed can it reasonably expect to deal with? I would imagine it would get shoved some impressive distances if you were to fly it up high, but it might be very hard to tell that, so far from all your landmarks
So far I have only made short distance test flights.
I have already reached a total flight distance of 14km with a flight time of up to 22min.
But the last minutes/Km are very close to its limit.
I would have to make a test flight on distance.
I think with wind can be relatively heavy.
