The GoPro 8 has established itself as one of the most widely used cameras in the field of FPV. Compared to newer generations, it boasts a lighter weight while maintaining stable gyro data that can be effectively processed with Gyroflow or RealsteadyGo. Additionally, the deceased or naked GoPro 8 has gained popularity within the Sub250g and Cinewhoop categories. GEPRC has produced a very good BEC and case for GoPro 8 and I have been using it in my Sub250g and Cinewhoop quads.

However, I desired to utilize the naked GoPro in heavier quads, such as those used for freestyle or long-range flights. Personally, I have a strong preference for lighter quads due to their increased agility, longer flight times, and reduced susceptibility to damage during crashes. Unfortunately, this led to a few broken naked GoPros along the way.

To address this issue, I took the initiative to design a carbon fiber cage that offers exceptional protection for the camera. In fact, I confidently assert that it provides superior safeguarding compared to the original case. Thanks to this specially designed cage, my freestyle quad has endured numerous crashes while effectively shielding the camera from damage. Even when my heavy 6" quad took a fall after colliding with a power line, resulting in damaged motors, my GoPro remained unscathed.

Key Features:

  • Lightweight and durable carbon fiber design; Just 14g
  • Easy assembly and disassembly
  • Front and back protection
  • Accessible buttons and ports
  • Compatible with GEPRC ND filters and lens protection

After rigorously testing this cage for over a year, I have refined its design to ensure exceptional performance. To share the benefits, I have made several available for others to enjoy. If you're interested, please don't hesitate to reach out.
