Plan was to make clean build with some assumpions like:

  • Screw post in the middle point
  • As least amount od zip ties, duck and double sided tape
  • All screws from stainless steel (planning waterproofing in future)
  • Symetrical if possible (no power cable comming from side)

Bottom plate is flipped (front to back) so i got 30x30 screw hole in front and 20x20 in back. But turns out, that center screws for middle post on top plate arent centered. Its like ~0.5mm. Center post is little screwed, but overal its ok.

I've also need top plate so xt60 will come throght plate.
I could pass wires and solder it to ESC. But i want to take off top plate completly when i needed
Cables doesnt touch FV and leave room for camera move during crash.

Capacitor got heat shrink tube for protection. So far work got, but i havent got much crashes yet.

Provided jst calbe with O3 was little short, but speedybee provided few milimeter longer connector for gps unit i think. Small repinning and its ok.

Case for o3 provide space for passing wires under it. Also O3 unit was intact, by that i mean its not directly screwer. Main part of case is from TPU, and bottom from hard plastinc. There are "snaps" build in, so when its screwed its pressed to bottom plate and prevent snapping out. It holds really tight.

Rear box containing RX and vifly buzeer, there feature with largened button for ease of turinng buzzer of (button need to be presed for ~1s after battery disconnecting it will buzz otherwise)

Antenna holder bends antenna post, but look liek everything is ok, ofc its printed from TPU.

There is small problem with O3 and FOV. While flying in 16:9 we can see small part of cage on sides. Camera is moved formard as much as the original mount allows it. I'm thinking about filling camera cage so camera mounts can be moved little further or just cage parts that is visible in camera, but we will see

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
