This is my first build i uploaded here. On my first flight i got about 6 min flight time. All parts are linked below. If you have any tips or questions just leave a comment.
building my own right now. what's your AUW (all-up weight, including battery)? interesting motor choice, btw. flight time aside, how does it fly? how much throttle does it take to hover? 1500kv is pretty cold-blooded. for comparison, my freestyle quads use 1850kv motors on 6s to swing a 5" prop, lifting 700g+. i'm using 1604 2850kv motors on 6s, so they'll spin almost twice as fast using the same current.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

Hey interesting build I'm looking to do something similar. Did you wire the VTX to the 5v bec output on the FC? I see whoop lite is rated for 1s to 3s but Im trying to figure out how I can put it on a 4s build safely
Yes I have connected it to the bec but you should make sure that the bec can supply the power that the HDZero whoop lite needs
The hdZero whoop lite is specified with a consumer of 7 watts, so your 5 V bec should be capable of at least 1.5 A continuous load
thanks for the reply and explanation. How is the range on this setup? Do you usually keep it maxed out?
