Cinewhoop65 - Spezilicious V4 Quattro

This is the cinewhoop version of my latest 4 in 1 frame, the Spezilicious V4 Quattro. You don't know what I'm talking about? Please check out https://rotorbuilds.com/build/32011

Soft mounted detachable Gopro plate

The Cinewhoop version is basically the same as the upright version and uses a soft mounted GoPro plate, as known from the Spezilicious 75. We use the stack build, which is typical for the Spezilicious65 and 75 and using Bumpers to mount our Gopro plate above the Flight Controller (see pictures). The advantage is we have a GoPro mount which can be removed quickly and is also

a) soft mounted and
b) sits deep in the frame.

Compared to other whoops which places a Gopro mount on top of the frame, the Spezilicious has it placed lower, making the overall profile of the whoop lower.
We can also adjust the hight of the ducts like in the upright version.Interesting if you want to use 0804 motors,a good choice for this little overweight whoop.

Removable Ducts

Ducts and frame are separated in all Version of the V4 Quattro, which makes it easy to switch Ducts in seconds. Because there are only 2 struts per duct, we have an improved airflow compared to most whoop frames which is noticeable
in terms of efficiency and noise. I fly 2x 1s 300mah batteries 2s and have an average flight time of 2.15 min. Weight with Gopro 6 lite and Batterys is 72g.

Recommended parts:

  • Spezilicious V4 Cinewhoop Frame
  • 0804 @newbeedrone motors 2s
  • FC @Happymodel X12 (or similiar)
  • @Foxeer Pico Razer
  • 2x 305mah @mylipo

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
