ImpulseRC Micro Apex 3" for DJI O3 Air Unit

After finishing the build using a TPU print to have the camera outside of the frame for more space, I have edited the build to bring the camera inside the frame. Because of the 20mm width of the camera, I had to use another TPU print with 35mm long M2 screws in place of the stock standoffs.

hey man, nice build! Any chance you can share that updated 03 camera mount? I'm using one made by my buddy but it looks like yours has more cam protection by placing it further back. I would like to try yours if you dont mind.

So here's the thing with this file... I found it on Thingiverse but it was made the the 5" Apex which is a little taller. I altered the file in Fusion 360 to the correct size. You're going to need 35mm M2 screws to run through the top of the frame, through the TPU prints and out the bottom. I used M2 locknuts on the bottom. It's a super tight fit but as you can see it definitely works. Good luck! Let me know if you have any issue downloading.

what’s that little TPU thing for mounting the 03 camera? does impulse sell that? I’m building the 4" version, and assumed 03 AU wouldn’t be an option

A friend made the O3 camera mount for me for the Kopis frame. It worked perfectly for the Micro Apex 3"! Here is the link...

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
