I know there are other cool frames out there, and since this seems like it was the last bOt5 at one of those great online retailers it'll be a challenge to find more...so I really wanted to make this one perfect.

And yes... the name kinda came to me after painting, when I realized the color pattern matches that of a particular comic book character...I leave it up to the extra curious to Google that one

My current favorite motors, best mini stack as far as price quality is concerned and the best affordable Vista, since 03 is still beyond my budget.

The paint job is the result from months of experimentation and a combination of various techniques I picked up during that time

One thing that was kinda messed up about this frame is that upon opening the bag I couldn't help but to notice a rather ..."funny" smell. But what the hey..I sand those things, wash em, paint em and then put some glossy clear coat over everything. I'm not going to say what shop, just that I thought that was kinda messed up...

Building was pretty straight forward, didn't run into any issues. One thing I never had before was all motors spinning perfect... usually I have to reverse at least one...this time everything was just right. didn't even update betaflight because it stopped with version 4.4.2, that's totally fine for me. And I added a beeper to this one as I kinda stopped putting them in everything for a few builds now.... I've learned to regret not having one as it can really slow down recovery of your rig after a crash

ok...so the Vista complete took a crap on the maiden flight and the crash shredded the rig pretty good, but it's already all fixed... I tried increasing the Vista output power to 1200mW with that pwr_2 hack from Oscar Liang...but I guess that didn't work...

Whatever the video is from the maiden, the pic of the props as well and that last pic is the current fixed and working version

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
