This is a sub 250g build using the Apex Micro frame. It sits at 250g on the dot with my old CNHL 850 from 2019. I have a few new lipos coming that will put this build well under the 250g mark.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

Good lookin out! I have one of these built, and I didn't use the zip-tie hole for strain relief on my battery wires, that's very tidy!
Thanks lol, I've already seen it put to use. I'm having to get used to this size build with thins kind of power. For the past few years I've flown exclusively 5" or under powered whoops. before that I made a 3" in 2017 or 18 and it was nothing like this. So plenty of crashes so far. It's holding up really well.
I have been converted, I use the gemfan props. It's so quiet and powerful that I built my first 03 into a 4" gecko, instead of a 5" (like you, I have been flying them daily for years). After the micro apex with the vista, I was sold. It's as good as a slowish freestyle 5" with a gopro, but I can fly it around people. No one is scared, or mad, & I'm not breaking any laws. People have reacted to mine positively across the board, so far. Really lets me freestyle pretty much anywhere now.
I am shocked at the punch on a 650 4s. It's like a super-micro
