Just another tiny whoop...kinda trying to check out the differences between 65mm and 75mm.

This thing was pretty much just plug and play. The only thing soldered is the VTx, which took like 2 min and most of that was squeezing it into place.

As far as the flight performance is concerned I'm now really sure yet. Indoors it performs very similar to my 65mm build, but I do admit I have a hard time doing snap rolls indoors. Outdoors no problem, easy peasy. Snap rolls, power loops and split S all come fairly snappy...feeling still like less power than a 5 inch, but maybe I just need to crank up my rates...we'll see.

Weighs a ton more than the 65mm build, but flies very similar, actually feeling a bit more steady and less twitchy.

I'm considering switching the canopy, as the BetaFlight one strikes me as rather...yeah...but let's see. I'm really more interested in how this performs outdoors.

very interested on how you reached 26g - was that mostly the 1002 motors?

not sure how it became that heavy, but I think it's a combination of yes, those beefier motors and also the camera, which I'm thinking to swap for something lighter... I'm also not in love with that canopy (saw your comment in a video of yours on it and I can already see those issues..plus I'm not in love with the angle). But here's something I do like about this build over my 65mm rigs --> it's much more fun outside. Better on throttle punches and a little bit stable overall

I'm already working on another 65mm build...motors are soldered and I've been flying line of sight, but I'm waiting on a lighter VTx. I'm also still looking at your builds for inspiration and SpeziLover's pusher style rigs

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
