I picked the Flywoo Robo 1002 15500kv 2s motors to power this quad and the walksnail nano v3 vtx with a higher 500mW transmit power. The nano v3 is the same cost as the 1s, I removed the case to reduce the weight and make it fit. I also used spacers on the 4 corners to raise the aluminum frame to make room for the VTX and silicone spacers between the FC & VTX.

I tested 3 blade and 2 blade props and I prefer 2 blade. The BetaFPV Lava 450mah 2s LiHV gives me up to 7 min flight time with the 2 blade props.

Great little park ripper and capable of compact cinematic video. Powerful enough to carry the Runcam Thumb Pro with ease. I use the FlyHigh FPV 3d printed case with the SMO4K loop style and it fits the Runcam and Draknight camera mount perfectly. I also ran a power wire from an open 5v pad on the FC for the runcam and zip tied it to the top of the frame for easy connection.

The video from the walksnail goggle dvr is almost as good as the video I got from the runcam. The fpv camera is protected by the frame with very little prop in view, it could definitely be used for filming without the need of an external camera.

I'm really happy how this build turned out. I upgraded the FC to Betaflight 4.5.1, enabled bidirectional dshot, and it and flies very smooth.

The Draknight frame feels solid, even with the 4 added spacers. It took a few tumbles in the grass, I lost a few props and it is holding up well.
