since I initially posted this, i've completey scrapped this build, desinged a 2.5" and put the guts into it and then some other components and rebuilt this so that it would actully work. As its shown in the pictures with 2" Emax Avan props the props actually graze the corners of the vista and I had to space the two vista boards out just right so that the props could spin between them. with limited deck height, they still scraped a bit until they wore themselves down. Excluding the prop issue, this build is way more fun than expected. I initially just wanted sonething that I could fly in the backyard but I think the size of the motors is making this quad fun in larger scale environments than expected. Rather than being a tiny freestyle quad, this just feels like navigating a bullet, the most enjoyment that I get out of it is just sending it in a straight line for a good city block fast and low. One of my favorite feelings in FPV is just sending a quad far and fast and i've missed that feeling as I haven't gotten out anywhere where I can just send my 5" quad in about a year.

The updates

For the rebuild I just swapped out the AIO for a TuneRC 20a AIO as the 40a board was overkill, and added unnecessary weight and I swapped out the props that had been grazing the vista for some new 1.8" props. I haven't maidened the new build yet but I have some footage from the original bulld, i'll post footgae from both versions when I get a chance. I'll also add some info about the 2.5" that I designed and am currently testing. I'm excited for the new dji 04 lite release, things are gonna get interesting real sooon!

The 1.8" props are too flimsy for the weight of the build and the 2" emax props actually clear the Vista now as I think I spaced things differently in the rebuild.
