This build was really challenging to do, because I wanted to keep it the most clean and compact as possible, staying under the 500g bar and... I succeed !
The PIDs will may be difficult to tune but it's a real little adventure :D

Killer setup. I'd love to see this done with 8 1407's. itd weigh a similar weight as 4 larger motors but might spin faster, plus their lower torque would be counteracted because there would be 2 motors per arm to handle divide strain between. It wouldnt have the same lifting capacity but it might be fast, who knows. It could just be an aweful idea, but itd be interesting to try it out on the off chance it works perfectly. There are 1407's that can put out 1000grams with 5 inch props and they only weigh about 15grams a piece. Just a thought! love your build btw! ive always wanted to build an x8.
