The Spezilicious 65 RST is the latest version of my micro carbon whoop. With ultra compact center of gravity, carbon, lightweight and now also with duct included. You don't know my frames? Then check my profile.

Highlights:

  • Carbon Base Plate: The frame’s baseplate is made from high-quality carbon, providing low weight while maintaining high stability.
  • Optimized Center of Gravity (CoG): The new battery mounting concept offers an ultra-compact CoG.
  • New and Unique Duct Frame: The duct frame, printed from PA12-CF15, offers not only a lightweight design but also optimized airflow due to its low height and reduced number of braces compared to other micro Whoop frames. The duct frame can be adjusted in height.
  • QuickSwitch System: The duct frame can be quickly swapped without disassembling the electronics. It is secured with just 2 nuts on the left and right. The STL file is freely available. Print your own duct frames!
  • Compatible with All Flight Controllers: Use any popular Whoop flight controller, not just Cross FCs.
  • Low Weight: Optimized for lightness. A build with 0702 motors, for example, weighs only 18.4 grams.
  • Optional Battery Mounting: The frame offers versatile options for attaching the battery. In addition to the duct frame mount, the LiPo can also be attached with the included rubber band or TPU loops. This way, the RST version can also be used to build the V4 predecessor with Meteor ducts.

Note: The frame needs to be assembled by the user. It is recommended to use HQ 35mm propellers due to the new battery position, which places the LiPo near the propellers. HQ 35mm propellers are slightly smaller than Gemfan 35mm, providing better clearance from the battery. Additionally, the plastic around the BT2.0 connector on 1S batteries must be trimmed. There will be uploaded a build video by im_ricebowl end of December with more Details.

Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
