My first drone build in the books! Came out better than I expected. Posting this for other people who are looking into the Geprc Mark 5 frame.

  • Take note that the DC version will drift a little bit more than you expect when you make turns in flight. (with yaw specifically)

  • If you are wanting a super responsive qaud that you can flip and roll a bunch, I would go with the X frame version.

  • I decided to go with 1700KV motors and low pitch props (2.7inch pitch) for more lower end throttle control over top end speed, which on a 6s from my first couple flights this is still punchy when you need it to be.

All parts were purchased from Pyrodrone.com

With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
