The build started with a pleasant surprise — a package with FPV components arrived ahead of schedule. The star of the project is the FlyfishRC Volador VX3.5 frame, which impressed with its compact size and capabilities. Despite its small dimensions, it comfortably accommodates all the necessary components.

Mounting the DJI O3:
The first challenge came with installing the DJI O3 module — it’s designed to be mounted with M1.6 screws, while the frame is made for M2 hardware. The solution turned out to be simple: using longer M2 screws, which fit perfectly. The main thing is to ensure that the thermal interface makes firm, even contact and stays in place.

Stack Mounting:
The stock M2 inserts were removed, and the holes were drilled out to fit M3 hardware. Later, M3×16 mm screws were ordered and turned out to be a perfect fit. Instead of inserts, standard nuts were used — the frame is now firmly and securely fastened.
