i began this build first flying LOS.Had to replace the first PDB and top plate and luckily just props. After about a month or so final got the FPV set up going well. Ever since then she flys like a dream. Still flying on stock PIDS so their is some prop wash and oscillation if i am in the disturbed air. Been racking some serious flight time and hitting some sweet spots along the way. Just 5 months into the FPV journey and can't see myself going back anytime soon.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

You're going to need a flight controller. I suggest a sp racing f3 board running beta flight. The Emax rs2205 2300kv motors are good for beginners, I'm currently running them on a similar frame and they're great! However I do highly recommend buying them from emax-usa.com so that you can ensure they are genuine. You can use an ESC that is 20A and up. For the VTX I would go for a more inexpensive one. One quick tip, make sure you soft mount your fc.
I hope this helps!
Good Luck!!!
It does what soft mounts do you recommend and where to get it from? I am just always concerned from buy from all these different sites but seem to be legitimate. I just wanna make sure all these parts fit and no serious issues.
Ready made rc has some
would you say all these parts are compatible?
yes
Yes they are compatible, however I do recommend not useing the six blade props. go for a tri-blade like the DAL T5040 V2.
ok thats good to hear. I did end up buying some tri-blade props from a store here in town. I am really into the hex props I might try once i know everything is running smoothly. Have everything coming in Friday and during the week. Excited and anxious.
